Tripple Championship Claimed by Dmitrij Sribnyj with SCR BRZ & MX5 while Mini Suber Test signs of 2024 Season

2024 comes to an end with fantastic results across everything Dmitrij Sribnyj committed to during this year, showcasing exceptional dedication, innovation, and a strong ability to adapt to challenges while achieving significant milestones in both professional and personal growth.

#MINISUBER – Historical moment!

The main #MiniSuber finally powered itself for the first time, making it’s baby steps on the dyno and a flat out track test at Snetterton Circuit.

The biggest challenge of the year was Dmitrij completing for the wiring loom on the Mini Suber. It was a time-consuming process that requires intense focus, but with invaluable help and advice from Scoobyclinic, nothing seemed impossible. Once all the wiring plugs were connected and the Antigravity battery powered the Syvecs ECU, the car came alive… What an exciting moment that was!

Mini Suber was absolute animal on the dyno especially shifting through Samsonas sequential transmission, after some power pulls boosting spooly twin scroll Blouch Turbo, we settled at 430bhp figure that left me eager to get it out on track for further testing.

Snetterton’s annual Peter Andrews Memorial Sprint was the perfect opportunity for this. He started with a few easy runs to get acquainted with the new build and warm up of a rather massive Toyo R888R Tires, gradually gaining confidence. By the final laps, the car showed it’s potential, proving to be the savage track beast Dmitrji knew it could be. By finishing 3rd overall was a huge achievement, confirming just how much this build can deliver. The potential is definitely there!

#BRZAWD – BEAST MACHINE

SCR Subaru BRZ remains the star of the year, taking part in eight competitive rounds across the UK tracks. Once again, it has proven to be a weapon of choice by winning 2 Championship Series this season.

The transformation from a brutal Gymkhana car to a high-speed sprint car has been gradual, but it’s certainly taking the car to the next level.

Year started with fitting of the refreshed 2.3 engine by Scoobyclinic utilising King Bearings and car having a full service and check over with the impressive dyno run during the mapping session.

Then mid of the season, Dmitrij then fitted a front splitter tunnelling it all the way under Forge Motorsport radiator and intercooler, but it unbalanced the car. However, with the addition of a rear wing for the next round and adjustment on Whiteline Suspension, the car was stabilized, and now it has plenty of downforce evenly distributed along the chassis. Car is currently at Scoobyclinic for the winter hibernation waiting for 2025.

#MX5chainsaw – SMALL BUT MIGHTY

The most interesting car Dmitrij competed with this season was the MX5, also known as “Chainsaw.”Picture

At the start of the season, he took part in a few Autosolo events, followed by live demos at the American Speedfest at Brands Hatch, where he shared the stage with other Gymkhana drivers.

Then he entered the intense but short Formula G Championship, that consisted of just four rounds, followed by a P2 in Round 3 and a P4 in Round 4. These results was enough to secure the Pro Class Championship title.

Throughout the season, the MX5 underwent some significant development. Key upgrades included the installation of a Rotrex supercharger kitted up with Samco Hoses and a 6-pot PB Brakes conversion. These modifications transformed the car, making this far more responsive in both acceleration and braking.

Dmitrij Sribnyi would like to thank Co-ordSport and his sponsors and everyone who was involved throughout his achievements this year. He would like to thank all the event organisers and track venues for the exciting times ahead!

He is looking forward to see everyone very soon and wishes you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
