Newly developed from HKS is the ATSC Active Torque Split Computer for the Nissan R35 GT-R. The computer corrects the front torque distribution for optimal driving and better use of the engine’s power output. Essential for modified R35s.
Installation is made simple with the plug and play harness with installation . The ATSC is available from Co-ordSport with a retail price of £695+VAT (£834 inc. VAT).
The 4WD system on the R35 GT-R is electronically controlled. The front torque distribution is determined by driving conditions.
ATSC can operate at 4 different levels. The user can easily identify the profile through the flashing LED light and select between them through the use of a switch.
Oversteer can occur during high load driving due to lack of front torque. ATSC can optimise this for improved high load stability.
Proper torque distribution can optimise full use of the engines power output. Therefore, ATSC is recommended for use on vehicles with GT570/600/800 specifications or similar.
Installation is made simple with the plug and play harness which can connect and disconnect easily to the E-TS unit under the driver’s seat. Installation time is approximately 2 hours.
ATSC is only active when the vehicle speed is above 50km/h (31mph) and when brakes are not being applied. This ensures a stable vehicle during standing starts and low speed driving.
