Fiesta time for Shelley

MSA Rally Academy co-driver Shelley Rogerson will contest the Pirelli Trophy rally next weekend with fellow Academy participant Kevin Davies. Shelley was due to contest the International event with David Wright in a Subaru Impreza but a lack of funding has meant that Wright has not submitted his planned entry. Instead Shelley will contest the Trophy event, which runs on the Sunday stages of the International rally, in the Ford Fiesta ST150 of Davies.

The rally is the second round of the hotly contested M-Sport Fiesta Sporting Trophy. Davies finished third on the opening round of the championship in the Lake District and will be hoping for a similar good result on the Pirelli. The event, which is based in Carlisle, contains some tough and testing stages in the famous Kielder forest complex as well as a run through the popular P-Zero spectator stage.

“I’m really looking forward to contesting the Pirelli, the stages will be a real challenge for both the car and the crew. We will be looking to finish towards the top of the Fiesta leaderboard, a repeat of Kevin’s first round result would be great!” said Shelley.

Shelley is backed by Co-ordSport, CERL, Legend Fires and AMG TV and she thanks them for their continued support.
