Cusco Motorsport – Cross country rally begins in Japan
A new rally series exclusively for cross country vehicles, the XCR Sprint Cup, has been launched in Japan. The first race took place at the New Chitose Motorland, in Hokkaido, the second largest island in Japan, and the home of the Hokkaido Regional Championship. The Hilux Revo of CUSCO RACING’s Akira Bamba and Takahiro Yasui won the XC-2 class, while the Jimny of Chiori Abe and Naoki Kasei won the XC-1 class. Round 2 of the Hokkaido Blizzard Rally will be held on the 20th February.
