Bridgeway goes racing!

Bridgeway, known for it’s engine component manufacturing, has its first self-developed race car – “BW19” , and their team made its debut a few weeks ago, here are the details –

On July 15th, BW19 entered the Bohai Bay Super Cup event, and performed its first race. It’s a long awaited milestone for the BW motorsports team, and the result of a lot of preparation and development. Even though, it’s the first time for the team to enter a race as a factory effort, the team and race car were calm under pressure and made a good performance.

We finished the race in 2nd in group and second overall. Lack of race experience cost a few minor problems over the weekend, but our engineers and technicians provided all the technical solutions on time to ensure the best performance of BW19 and its driver.

The driver, Jack Li, was 2nd in qualifying and after consultation with the engineers, adjustments were made to BW19, resulting in making the car more suitable for Jack’s driving style. The second round qualifier, the team got the pole position. A quote from Jack “BW19’s performance and durability exceed my expectation. I’m very confident driving it now. I don’t think I have pushed it to its limit, so I’m looking forward to work with BW motorsports team again.”

BW19 is a race car developed by BW motorsports team from the ground up. This project has been in progress for five years, and we finally see it out on the race track. We are glad we madeit this far, but it’s only the beginning for us. BW19 is built according to the FIA regulations, it’s fully ready to join any races. Now its performance has been proven, we are going to bring more BW19 to the market.
